A history of diving tracing the first free-diving immersions of the beautiful Cyana in 500 BC. JC, the era of heavy-footed divers supplied with air from the surface and walking heavily on the bottom then the emergence of divers in autonomous diving suits (fins, bottles, regulators) evolving freely in the three dimensions like “butterflies” under water (formula from Philippe Diolé, journalist and co-author of numerous books with Jacques-Yves Cousteau).

A History of Desaturation (Decompression)
A history of desaturation since the first “pressure chambers”, the first accidents (bells, Triger devices, heavy diving suits) and the beginnings of research on the subject (Paul Bert) leading to the Haldane tables in 1908, which opened the way to current desaturation techniques.
Public: Experienced divers, supervisors or instructors.

Buoyancy in the animal world
The question of buoyancy in marine animals. The different means: gas floats, oil floats, skeleton lightening, etc.
